Managing the Covid 19 Crisis at Howick Baptist Church
Howick Baptist Church During the Covid-19 Crisis
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4
Due to COVID-19 the Howick Baptist Church facilities are closed until further notice. We will continue to follow the directions of the Government in the interests of the health of our community. A weekly time of worship adapted to the present conditions will be streamed here at 9:30 am each Sunday.
We plan to provide opportunities for online Bible studies, messages from church members sharing encouragement from the Scriptures, testimonies of God’s goodness and even some things for the children. Check this page regularly for updates!

Because we are not able to meet in home groups, each Wednesday the Pastors will put out a short video and some questions to help you reflect on God's word. You can do this as a family, online with one of our home groups, or over the phone with a friend. We want you to be blessed and encouraged by God's word despite not being able to meet together.
You can view the videos from the selection above, and download the questions and notes from the links below:
Lean on Jesus, trust in Him for He will never let you down. Listen to what king David did when he felt he was under assault in Psalm 27:
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
